DINA MARTINEZ

Dina’s expertise is in finding the big idea that’s right for her clients.  Whether it’s mapping out a PR approach, developing an integrated recruitment marketing campaign or producing a turn-key branding solution, she quickly identifies the most effective and efficient means of reaching meeting the clients’ objectives in a meaningful way.

For over 20 years, Dina has planned, developed and implemented marketing and communications initiatives for leading national and regional brands across diverse sectors. Her reach spans top consumer brands including Discovery Channel and EXPO Dry Erase Markers; industry associations and foundations including the Airline Owners and Pilots Association, and the Freddie Mac Foundation; as well as respected non-profits including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington and the Hispanic College Fund.

Today, she leads Viona Group’s day-to-day operations, managing client relationships and leading marketing and communications programs that drive client connections with core audiences.

Dina shares her passion for communications with both undergraduate and graduate students at her alma mater, American University, where she is a professor and the Director of the Professional MA in Strategic Communication.  

When not helping clients connect with target audiences or in the classroom, Dina enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her husband and their two kids.

FAVIO MARTINEZ

Favio is passionate about helping organizations think through who they need to connect with in a culturally relevant manner to meet business objectives.  
 
For 15+ years, Favio has tried to live by the quotes from Sun Tzu and Epictetus, sharpening his marketing and communications skills while delivering value to private and public sector organizations.  He’s lead marketing and communications programs for the Army National Guard, College Parents of America, Discovery ChannelNational Council of La Raza, US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, as well as other brands.
 
A native Atlantan of Colombian parents, Favio loves sweet tea and a bandeja paisa.  His “spare time” is spent with his wife and two kids, or trying to play soccer without getting hurt.

CHRISTINA MORITZ

A problem-solver, Christina understands the need for functionality and relevant communication to meet design. She digs in to find the meaning behind the messages that clients want to convey, and creates visually engaging ways to bring those stories to life. 

Christina has exercised her talent in various creative environments including in-house and studio settings with Marietta College, Ullman Design Studio and the Chicago Wolves AHL hockey team.  Originally from Canton, Ohio (home of the Football Hall of Fame), Christina relaxes by feeding her other passion, sports. She can usually be found at the hockey rink or swimming laps.
